Efektivitas Edukasi Berbasis Mobile dalam Meningkatkan Pengetahuan Pasien Osteoartritis

Osteoartritis (OA) adalah salah satu penyakit kronis pada sistem muskuloskeletal yang paling umum di usia lansia dan penyebab utama kecacatan di seluruh dunia. Pengetahuan terbatas tentang manajemen OA, faktor risiko, pengendalian gejala, dan praktik perawatan diri dapat berkontribusi pada perkembangan penyakit dan penurunan hasil kesehatan. Meningkatkan pengetahuan pasien sangat penting untuk mendukung manajemen diri yang efektif dan mencegah komplikasi. Pendidikan berbasis mobile diberikan sebagai pendekatan inovatif untuk menyampaikan informasi kesehatan yang mudah diakses, fleksibel, dan mudah dipahami. Mengetahui efektivitas pendidikan berbasis mobile terhadap pengetahuan pasien OA. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuasi-eksperimental dengan sampel 50 responden (25 kelompok intervensi diberikan pendidikan berbasis mobile selama 4 minggu dan 25 kelompok kontrol hanya menerima perawatan rutin) dengan teknik sampling purposive sampling. Tingkat pengetahuan dinilai sebelum dan sesudah intervensi menggunakan kuesioner pengetahuan menggunakan OAKS dengan hasil uji validitas sebesar 0,90. Sedangkan uji reliabilitas sebesar 0.81. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t berpasangan. Terdapat efektivitas kelompok intervensi dengan nilai p 0,001 sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol tidak ada arus dengan nilai p 0,33. Pendidikan berbasis mobile efektif dalam meningkatkan tingkat pengetahuan pasien osteoartritis. Pendekatan ini dapat dianggap sebagai strategi pendidikan yang praktis dan dapat diakses untuk mendukung manajemen diri pasien dan promosi kesehatan di lingkungan perawatan kesehatan primer.
