Efektivitas Simulasi Kegawatdaruratan terhadap Kemampuan Mahasiswa D-III Keperawatan dalam Penanganan Gawat Darurat di Tempat Kerja

Abstract

Tingginya kasus kegawatdaruratan menuntut calon perawat memiliki kemampuan penanganan awal yang cepat, tepat, aman, dan terkoordinasi. Simulasi menjadi metode pembelajaran yang memungkinkan mahasiswa berlatih dalam skenario menyerupai kondisi kerja tanpa membahayakan pasien. Penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas simulasi kegawatdaruratan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan psikomotor, dan kepercayaan diri mahasiswa Diploma III Keperawatan Politeknik Kaltara. Penelitian quasi-eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest dilakukan pada 40 mahasiswa semester V melalui total sampling. Intervensi berupa simulasi kegawatdaruratan dilaksanakan dalam tiga sesi, masing-masing dua jam. Pengetahuan diukur dengan tes pilihan ganda, keterampilan dengan ujian klinik terstruktur objektif, dan kepercayaan diri dengan kuesioner skala Likert. Instrumen telah melalui validasi isi oleh pakar dan uji reliabilitas pada uji coba terbatas sebelum digunakan. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji t berpasangan. Rerata pengetahuan meningkat dari 46,70% menjadi 83,60% dan keterampilan meningkat dari 47,43% menjadi 81,83%, keduanya bermakna secara statistik. Kepercayaan diri pasca simulasi berada pada rerata 80,45%, dengan 52,5% responden kategori sangat baik dan 47,5% kategori baik. Simulasi kegawatdaruratan efektif meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam penanganan gawat darurat di tempat kerja.
